Born and raised in Louisiana, Dr. Mallery’s dynamic seminars have left schools, educators, and students raving. His services have been requested by Fortune 100 companies, some of America’s best universities, and secondary educational institutions everywhere.
Much of his work as of late focuses on helping administrators and educators build culturally responsive experiences for their school communities to increase academic and student engagement. Dr. Mallery is a leading motivational lecturer and an expert scholar-practitioner in Social Emotional Learning and culturally relevant and sustaining pedagogies, which influences how he builds and implements sustainable initiatives.
Dr. Mallery is the Founder of I’m So Educated™ an educational empowerment company established in 2011, that provides exposure, mentorship, and programming to students across the country.
Dr. Mallery holds a B.S. in Marketing from Southern University and A&M College. M.A. in Survey Research and Educational Analysis and a Ph.D. in Learning, Leadership, and Educational Policy as a Giolas Harriett Ph.D. Fellow from the University of Connecticut (UConn).
